Wolverine Worldwide has appointed Susie Kuhn as president of its active group, which includes the Merrell, Saucony, and Chaco brands.
Kuhn, who has more than two decades of worldwide brand-building experience in the footwear, apparel, and retail industries, will be in charge of developing brand strategies, implementing consumer-focused go-to-market plans, and driving commercial performance for Wolverine Worldwide’s active brands.
She will also be in charge of The Collective, an initiative created earlier this year to expand the business through customer insights, trends, and innovation.
Kuhn will report directly to Chris Hufnagel, president and CEO of Wolverine Worldwide.
“She has managed virtually all aspects of consumer-focused businesses in her previous roles – working on both the brand and retail side of the business while focusing squarely on customer journeys, driving the business, and keeping a pulse on consumer and marketplace trends,” said Hufnagel.
Before joining Wolverine Worldwide, Kuhn held senior leadership positions at Foot Locker, Nike, Converse, and URBN. She was most recently the president of Foot Locker Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
